On Comic Book Men one of the guys referred to a seller of memorabilia as as a shim sham man. I think he meant to say flim flam man or shifty or something and it came out as a mashup.
I like the phrase and want to incorporate it into everyday speech.

It just dawned on me that I've been on here for over a decade. I wasn't yet forty years old when I joined the group here and here I am closing in on FIFTY (just two weeks to go). When I'm not at work and updating on my ipod I'll expand on my thoughts...
I'm feeling the urge to do something creative, to make something. Helping with the Halloween costumes started the urge but during the cold dark afternoons I'm feeling the need for a greater creative outlet.
I was overcome by the urge to impulse buy. I went to Merch-Bot and got a Tea Rex, a little green dinosaur tea infuser and Bucky Cubes. Like Buckyballs except square. Sharon threw in a Halloween themed duck so I took a catduck.
I want to go home and take pictures of my dinosaur making tea.
The FB80's pump has stopped working so I'm sitting in the big room, taking an extended lunch because we've been slow and the shop is mostly caught up and I see no purpose in draining the boss lady's bank. If it weren't for the employee meeting I'd volunteer to go home. There's a lot I could be doing at home...
I'm sitting in the Rustic, noticing the the tall ceiling. Or at least the slab between this space and the condos upstairs and all the exposed conduit and pipe. When did we decide it was okay to not finish the rooms in which we eat, drink, or dance?
